Aloha my Lovelies!

I've started wearing this look on pretty much an everyday basis so I thought I'd share it with you in this tutorial/Mini review. If you're a regular follower of my blog then you'll notice that some of the products shown we have stayed in my routine since my Everyday Make Up post back in January which you can read here. However there's quite a few new additions (mainly Soap and Glory) so I thought I'd do a quick run down on my thoughts towards my latest additions to my everyday makeup!

L'Oreal Nude Magique CC Cream
Now that it's the height of summer it's always best to go light on the base - since nobody wants heavy cakey foundation sliding all over their face. Ew. I've opted to go for this CC Cream by L'oreal. It comes in three different formulations which are all designed to do different jobs. I chose the one that is made for dull skin, as I always love that dewy lite from within glow without looking oily. This does exactly what it says on the packet and provides me with a wonderful light/medium coverage and a gorgeous radiant shine.

Soap & Glory DIY Brow Kit & Benefit Gimme Brow
This is definitely the best my eyebrows have ever looked. Finally I've managed to find a shape that works for me without any heavy overdrawing or rigorous plucking. I've mentioned before that I love a good full brow look and I've found that using a combination of the Soap and Glory DIY Brow Kit and the Benefit Gimme Brow helps me achieve this. I begin with the brow kit to lightly fill in the sparse areas of my brows and enhance the shape then I simply comb through with the Gimme Brow to set them in place.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
I started dabbling in eye shadow after having my make up done at the Benefit counter back in February and since then I've been hooked! I then got the Naked 3 palette for my Birthday and only just got round to using it. For this look I used 'Limit' which is a beautiful matte dusky pink shade as a base colour then applied 'Dust' to the inside corners and blended it out to the middle of the lid in order to brighten the eyes. Next I took a bit of 'Factory' on a angled liner brush and applied a thin line underneath my eyes before swapping to a larger fluffy brush and blending the same colour into the outside corner and along the crease to create a subtle smokey eye effect. This look is perfect for this time of year as the combination of colours really remind me of a Summer Sunset. The formulation of all these colours is silky and applies like a dream to the lids, not to mention the pigmentation is just glorious. I have no doubt I'm going to be experimenting a lot with this palette in the future and it's got me itching to purchase the other two in the collection. #BeautyBloggerProblems.

Barry M Contour Kit
I'd been doing a bit of research into the best drugstore contour kits, since unfortunately the Charlotte Tilbury 'Bronze and Glow' palette is a little bit too far outside my budget *cries* however I came across this Barry M product whilst I was at the till. It was half price so I bought it on a bit of a whim and much to my surprise I'm pretty impressed with the results. It contains a 3 step contour guide but if I'm totally honest I only use the darkest contour shade. It works so much better than using bronzer as the powder is darker and more matte, helping to create that shadow effect needed to make a perfectly sculpted contour look.

This look couldn't be completed without my well loved MAC Velvet Teddy (See my review here) . It truly has become my go to lipstick for everyday wear and compliments overall look by creating a contrast with the glowy skin. I then set everything in place with the Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist. It has a lovely scent and is super hydrating which is always a must when you're on the go in the sun.

So there we have it, My Summer Sunset make up! What are you loving in the world of beauty? Let me know your recommendations in the comments.
